Our first stop was Las Vegas. Pawn Stars is one of our favorite shows so we thought it would be fun to stop and see Rick, Cori, Chumly, and the Old Man. Unfortunately they had just began filming when we got there. So instead of waiting and hour and a half in the desert sun we decided to make a quick down the strip. Doug wanted to put a hundred dollars on the Bears. Then use our winnings to come back; just the two of us. Now seeing the different casinos it would be fun to come back. But for now I got a few cool pictures.
On interstate 15 there is little town called Yermo. It is probably one of the most rundown town that I've seen. So of course this would be the perfect place for us to stop for lunch. Peggy Sues is an awesome little fifties diner. The perfect place to teach my children the art of dipping french fries in chocolate milk shakes. Aahhhh life is good.
The next few hours were spent in traffic trying to get to my sisters house. As we were driving Doug spotted a Bobs Big Boy restaurant. This was a blast from his past as his great grandma, Nana loved Big Boys. So we hopped out of the car for a quick picture.
About 5pm re arrived at my sisters house in Fallbrook. So happy to see the family. More pictures to follow.
