We are off!

Our morning began at 4:00am after a restless night for all of us. Our first stop was at the gas station for a cup of joe for Doug and donuts for the girls. Elyse let us know she wants to go to the beach before we left the parking lot!  Poor baby, it's going to be awhile. 

       Lunch was spent with who else but superman! 

     Note:  The last two pictures were taking not long after Andrea commented on how well Ava was doing. ;). Overall, we have been on the road for about twelve hours and they doing well. 

     We stopped in a little town with a familiar name for dinner. Elyse quickly spotted the outdoor play area at Chic-Fil-A. Unfortunately, it was raining and they wouldn't let the kids play.  A clown sat guarding the door making balloon animals and painting faces. Josie found enough courage to get a puppy. Ten minutes into the trip, POP!!! Elyse thought it was appropriate to nibble on her bear's bum. Does Doc McStuffins see balloon animals?

     It was great to finally relax at the hotel for the night. Tomorrow, here we come!
